Click on the image above to view 17 'How To' videos I created for the council. These short clips help inform tenants on simple repairs they can perform themselves around the house. These videos also appear within the 'Report A Repair Online' system, aiming to reduce the number of repair calls the council receives on a daily basis. 

This project took several months to accomplish. We wanted to promote the benefits of Sheltered Housing within Perth & Kinross, showcasing birthday events, art and craft classes, chair based exercises, coffee mornings, you name it! Travelling across Perthshire with my camera and interviewing the residents was great fun. 

This video was aimed at PKC tenants, promoting the efficiency of the council in working with innovative company CCG.

This short clip targeted residents of Perth & Kinross, encouraging the public to report any housing repairs online.

This film gives tenants of Perth & Kinross a step by step guide on how to set up their own MyPKC account, enabling them to report their repairs online.

The council receives a variety of noise complaints on a daily basis. This film explains the specific issues at hand, encouraging tenants to reduce their noise pollution. 

The council's Tenant & Resident Participation Strategy needed to be approved by the Elected Members Committee. I was asked to put together a short film explaining the benefits and the strategy itself, to then be presented to the Committee as part of a presentation. The film was well received by the elected members and the TRP Strategy was approved. 

The council receives many phone calls from tenants complaining about damp in their home. This film is an explainer video, outlining the causes of condensation, which can lead to dampness, as well as ways to prevent damp from spreading. 

Tea dances are held quarterly throughout a variety of sheltered housing sites within Perth & Kinross. They help reduce feelings of social isolation and loneliness within the elderly community- encouraging  people to get together and have fun. 

The IT department asked me to produce a promotional film for their team depicting the success of mobile working within the Private Housing Sector. The team suggested we create an eye-catching, fun video. I decided to use GoAnimate software to add characters and scenarios, helping to keep viewers more entertained throughout. 

As part of the Housing team, I was asked to produce a piece explaining the ins and outs of housing options available to tenants. I chose to interview an expert from the Private Housing Sector as well as using overlays of the council itself. 

This sleep out event was organised on behalf of CATH (Churches Action for The Homeless) in order to raise awareness and funds for homeless people. A variety of organisations were involved in hosting the night. This clip was shown on the Tenants Facebook page, gaining over 2,000 views.

This 7 minute video depicts the achievements of the PKC Housing Team in the last year. This film is used at many presentations and events, showing the commitment of housing staff.
